Gary Warman
Gary works with Catherine as a Board Advisor to the Partner team and has over 25 years of life actuarial experience in both industry and consulting with a big 4 firm.
Having worked in several large life insurers, including Pearl Assurance and Royal London, as well as Virgin Money, Gary has also worked in Consulting at Deloitte (where he first met, and struck up a relationship with Roger, whilst working on a mutual client) and led the development of a bespoke life actuarial consulting business at Aon. Gary specialises in sales and developing commercial propositions for clients, with a particular focus on operational efficiency (Finance Transformation anyone?), corporate transactions/M&A and 2nd line risk development.
Gary is currently the CRO at The Exeter Friendly Society, where he is a member of the Executive team. He is married with three grown up children, twin brother and sister and his youngest daughter is studying Veterinary Science and Surgery at Nottingham University.
In his spare time he likes to play golf and tennis (both badly), scuba dive (a bit better) and watch his beloved Leeds United.
