September 2023 Exam Results

September 2023 has been yet another successful exam sitting for APR IFOA students.

Between 38 students, APR sat a total of 51 exams and gained 39 passes, giving us an overall pass rate of 76%. This comfortably outperforms the industry-wide pass rate across all exams of 49%.

Looking at the results for individual exams, APR staff achieved a 100% pass rate across 9 different subjects, including SA3 and CM1 which had low industry pass rates of 31% and 32% respectively.

Congratulations to all our staff on their hard-earned results! However, special mention goes to:

• Claire Grant, Cristian Redondo Loures, James Matthew and Rob Givens, who all completed their final exam, and subject to completion of their PPD requirements, will become qualified as Fellows of the Institute of Actuaries.
• Glen Bishop picked up an impressive three written exams! Others picking up two written exams were Martyna Czapiga and Chris Seaman, and the CP2 and CP3 combo was delivered by all of Katie Neill, Tom Uden and Ross Witney-Hunter.
• Georgina Williams, William Richards, Richard Chappell and Mihai Ivanov, who all sat and passed CS1 in their first IFOA exam. A great start to life at APR!
