More exam success for APR students
Last Thursday’s IFoA exam results completed another solid set for APR’s actuarial students – the overall pass rate of around 75% across a total of 27 exams sat may not quite have reached the dizzy heights of some previous sessions, but nonetheless represented a strong showing and significantly above the national average.
Star performer this time around, though, was Chloe Efstathiadi, who in passing SA2 at first attempt joins the rank of fellowship – great job Chloe!
Very honourable mentions go to three of our first-year students, Adam Smith, Dennis Wang and Deven Rickaby, all of whom managed to bag three CT subjects in their first sitting – keep going at this rate and they’ll be qualified in no time.
Other multiple passes included Ian Angus (CT6 / ST9 – he also recently got past CA2 for good measure) and James Robinson (ST9 and CA3); and Sammy Ford eased past the notoriously tricky CA1 first time around.
We also had the first set of exam results for our initial two recruits studying the new CAA exams. Chris Nash and Morgan Smith-Woodhams both scored over 90% in Module 0 and will sit Modules 1 and 2 later this year.
Hearty congratulations to all those who passed exams in this sitting, and commiserations to those who just missed out.
Roll on September / October!
