April 2024 Exam Results

April 2024 saw yet another set of successful exam results which we are thrilled to be sharing. Our IFoA students gained a total of 36 passes out of a total of 48 exams taken, resulting in an overall pass rate of 75%, well above the industry average pass rate of around 50%.

In addition to this, APR students outperformed the industry average in almost all exams,  with APR staff achieving 100% pass rates across 6 different subjects.

Highlights

• Huge congratulations to Aidan O’Boyle and Amar Gorania for passing their final exam for Fellowship of the IFoA, both impressively getting through the exams within four years of joining APR and the actuarial profession.
• Further congratulations to Caroline Blackley, Ross Witney-Hunter and Tom Uden who have all now passed the exams required for Associate membership of the IFoA. In addition, both Ross and Tom sat and passed a challenging combo of CP1 and an SP exam.
• Further double passes by Georgina Williams, Imran Radzi, Kara Salih, Laura Westcott, Matthias Wuest, Philip O’Toole, Richard Chappell and William Richards has also seen them make significant progress towards qualification.
• On top of the IFoA exams, we have recently held exams for our internal Junior Analyst programme, broadly based on the previous CAA qualification. Congratulations here go to Patrick Vieira, who achieved an outstanding result and pass in his first attempt at the Module 1 exam.
