April 2023 Exam Results
We were absolutely thrilled to receive another set of outstanding exam results for exams sat in April and May by our CAA and IFoA student staff.
Between 41 IFOA students, APR sat a total of 64 exams and gained 53 passes, giving us an overall pass rate of 83%. This comfortably outperforms the industry-wide pass rate across all exams of 47%.
Looking at the results for individual exams, APR staff achieved a 100% pass rate across 13 different subjects, including a clean sweep of all core principles exams (CS, CM, CB). This is particularly impressive within the added context of the notoriety achieved by CS2 in recent times, as it remains the exam with the lowest industry average pass rate (31%).
Our CAA students also achieved another brilliant set of results with a 100% pass rate in the 4 exams sat. This again comfortably outperforms the industry-wide pass rate across all exams of 49% for CAA.
Highlights
Congratulations to all our staff on their hard-earned results! However, special mention goes to:
- Jenn Claybourn, Katie Rodney and Conor Marshall, who become qualified CAAs after passing their final exam.
- Jack Foley, Jacob Warbrick and George Fairbrother who have all passed the final exam required to become fellows of the IFoA.
- Dyon Dong, James Matthew, Josh Payne and Sunil Ghosh for the impressive feat of taking on 3 exams and passing all 3 in this sitting.
