April 2022 Exam Results
April 2022 saw another successful set of exam results for APR students, with a total of 49 passes out of 55 exams sat across the IFoA exams. Our CAA students also managed to pick up a total of 7 passes in the May exams.
APR’s 89% pass rate across the IFoA exams is almost double that of the industry wide pass rate of 45% and continues a longstanding trend of APR staff significantly outperforming the industry average as shown in the chart below.
* September 2019 IFoA wide results include only CM, CS, CB subjects, SP2, 5 & 6 and SA2
** April 2020 saw all CM and CS exams cancelled. APR staff normally perform well in these exams, causing a small dip
Looking at our results for individual exams, the APR pass rate exceeded the industry wide pass rate for every subject sat, with APR staff achieving 100% pass rates across 11 different subjects.
Highlights
We’d like to congratulate all staff on the results of their hard work. However, particular mention goes to:
- Craig Lynch, Emma McDougall, John Nicholls and Michael Scanlon who have all passed the final exam required to qualify as fellows of the IFoA
- Ellen Weise, Katie Rodney and Martyna Czapiga for each passing 2 CAA exams in the May session
- Jack Miller and Moses Vaughan for both passing two specialist exams this session on their first attempt
