Another Fine Set of Exam Results
With an overall pass rate of over 75% across all exams sat, the results for the Autumn exam season have seen APR’s staff demonstrate their quality once again. None more so than Sammy Ford who in polishing off SA2 and CA2 has now passed all the required exams to become a qualified actuary (in three years and with no failures to boot!).
As for a summary of our other individual highlights:
- Once again, APR’s growing cohort of Student Actuarial Analysts gave us a clean sweep in the CAA exams – Chris Nash and Morgan Smith-Woodhams (both M5), Carianne Wilson (M1) and Alistair Taylor and Chandler Walker (both M0). And in an APR first, Chris and Morgan have now met all the necessary requirements to achieve CAA status, so hats off to them!
- In the FIA exams, every one of our 2018 starters passed all the exams they sat – Michael Scanlon (CT3 and CT5), Imelda Barnes (CT6) and Jack Miller and Sid Prabhu-Naik (both CT3).
- In addition to Sammy and Michael, a further six of the team also passed two exams in the sitting – Adam Smith, Deven Rickaby and Dennis Wang (who all passed CP3 plus ST5, ST5 and ST2 respectively); and Kate Gerhard, Ian McFarlane and David Bennett (who each passed CT6 plus CT4, CT2 and CT8 respectively).
- And finally, an honourable mention to those not included in any of the above categories, namely Ajay Kotecha, Jack Davies (both CT6), John Nicholls (CT4) and Joseph Barnett (ST9).
Congratulations to all – bring on the new syllabus!
